Cheryl Brickey from Meadow Mist Design is hosting The Best of 2022 Linky Party once again. Thank you Cheryl.
I've picked 5 most viewed post for the best of 2022 linky party.
No. 1 is shared by the Disappointed News and Good News post and The QuiltCon quilt finished post. I was quite amazed when I saw the numbers for each post so I decided to put them both in the same rank. Even the post about this quilt that I posted on the Modern Quilting group on FB, has gotten a lot of reactions and tons of positive comments. I'm not discouraged by this rejection. I know that the jury process for each exhibition/show is subjective. All the comments made me very warm inside and gave me the determination to continue to create more designs.
No. 2 is about the Ornaments I made for the Los Angeles Temple Visitor Center. It's been a year long project and one of the most fun in 2022. Altogether, I made 33 ornaments for a tree there. You can see pictures of them on a tree and some other beautiful trees here.
No. 3 is the Fun Project for Quilting for Community post. I love curved piecing. This project gave me much joy while I was making it. Now it's one of the panels hung on the window of the new Q4C office. As promised, here is the picture.
No. 4 is the Philanthropy Quilt Top is Done post. I was intrigued by the instruction that said, 'make your own pattern'.
No. 5 is the August OMG Finished post. This quilt is a wedding gift.
This year I had more fun than other years past. Last year was great but this year, I got to do projects that I like and thoroughly enjoy the whole process. I didn't write patterns much this year but there always be next year for that. Do I sound like a procrastinator? Maybe..
Thank you so much for stopping by.
Have Happy and Wonderful New Year.
Margo
