Hi Friends,
I'm back and started sewing again. Since August, we've had health crisis in our family that required my attention and care. I decided to put everything on hold and take care of what was needed. Now the situation has gotten better and it's time for me to get back to my usual activities. Though, not completely 100%, I'm starting to make some blocks for my new ideas.
In the past I have made quilts with marbles ideas. You can see some of them here and here. Both quilts were for my friends' grandbaby boys. This new marble quilt is not for baby. The idea of this quilt is something more meaningful to me. Here are some of the marbles that I've made so far.
Can you tell I'm having fun? I love making these marbles. They are 12.5" in size and I will use the Inset circle technique to put them into the background later.
It's good to be back to sewing and creating again. Working with my hands makes me feel good and relax. It's a wonderful life!!
Margo
