I took a break from quilting the wedding gift quilt to make a rush gift for a dear friend's sister. She's undergoing breast cancer treatments. I made this piece last year as a back for another quilt, you can see it here. But it didn't workout well, so I saved it for something else. I showed them some quilt top pictures and they picked this one. Two weeks ago, I sent it to a longarmer to have it quilted and here it is. I just finished the binding.
I named this quilt 'Sisters' Love' because I was so touched with the way they take care of each other. Life is precious; to have someone devoted to you is a blessing.
Quilt stats;
