The denim quilt is done! Here’s the picture.

Now onto the other story:
Between July 27th to August 13th, I attended my college’s 50th anniversary celebration of the Math and Science Department in Bangkok, Thailand. The actual celebration day was on August 1st. My college's name is King Mongkut's University of Technology, Thonburi. I am part of the class #1 of the Math Department. There were 15 graduates that year. Most of my classmates were there, it was great to be able to go and celebrate with everyone. Our professor, who's now 86 years old, was the Dean of Mathematics department and also our adviser when we first entered the college. Our group has constant contact with her through all these years. We'd gather at her home every time I went back to visit. We all have this deep love and admiration for her. She's like the second mother to us. Amazingly she's still active and sharp. We all had so much fun talking and laughing every single time we meet and this time was no exception. We had a lot of fun singing our old college songs.
I've always felt that my life is so full with love and blessings and it has never been more evident than in the past weeks. I'm so blessed to be surrounded with good people in my life.
I came back in time to finish the facing of the quilt and submitted it to the Quilt National 27. Wish me luck.

Oh wow your quilt turned out spectacular! She is indeed a star! Beautiful work. How fun to be so close to your graduating class - love the name of your university. You and I do have that commonality of a math degree, but I've never been back to attend a college class reunion. Your math professor sounds like a gem - how lucky you are to still have her around. :)
