Life's Unexpected Challenges and a Blogiversary Giveaway

As I was preparing to celebrate the 2nd Blogiversary of my blog on February 1st, I was presented with one of life's unexpected challenges.  I had to go in for an emergency surgery on January 25th.  I am glad to be able to say that the surgery was a success and I am now in recovery and will continue to be in recovery for the next few months.

The giveaways are Red, Orange and Yellow Simply Colorful jelly rows from Vanessa Christenson of  V and CO, a Red Aurifil thread and a Portable LED lamp; all my favorite things.  I've been a long time admirer of Vanessa's beautiful works.

To enter, please leave me a comment between March 1-14 to let me know how you follow me.  Following me is not required, but it would be fun to know whether you follow me by email or by Bloglovin'.  Due to shipping cost, I am limiting the prizes to be shipped within the US. only.  The giveaway will run from March 1-14 and is open to anyone 18 years or older. The winners will be announced Tuesday, March 15th!

When I first started blogging on February 1, 2014, I didn't think I'd last six months, but look, I'm in my third year.  I wouldn't say it was a smooth ride, but I've learned a lot in these past 2 years.  I've met so many nice people with the same interests.  I'm thankful for all the comments, advice and kind words that have been given here.  I started to come out of my shell and experienced what the quilting world has to offer.  I've only seen and touched a small part of it and am hoping to learn more and hopefully one day, will be able to contribute more.

And guess what, the fun continues.  In April, I will have big Giveaway for my book promotion and there will be much more prizes.  Can't wait........  :)

Have a great day and Happy Sewing/Blogging

Thanks for visiting my blog and taking the time to comment. I enjoy reading each and every one and will respond with an email. If you don't get an email response, it's probably because you're a "no reply blogger" and I have no way to contact you! If you don't hear from me, check back at the original blog post for my reply.
